The story

It all starts with a dream: reaching the Moon. Follow Vitor's journey, phase by phase.

  1. The Big Liftoff

    Phase 01

    The Big Liftoff

    Inspired by his father's stories, Vitor builds a homemade rocket in the backyard. His first dream is simple and huge at the same time: rise through the atmosphere, dodge birds, planes and storm clouds, and reach the Moon.

  2. Toward the Red Planet

    Phase 02

    Toward the Red Planet

    On the Moon, Vitor realizes he can go much farther. With the rocket repaired and a new cannon to clear space rocks out of the way, he heads for Mars, where rare materials promise even better ships.

  3. The Asteroid Belt

    Phase 03

    The Asteroid Belt

    After Mars comes the first great barrier of the Solar System: a huge belt of asteroids. Vitor needs quick reflexes to fly through narrow corridors, and at the end of the route a colossal asteroid blocks the way.

  4. Giant Jupiter

    Phase 04

    Giant Jupiter

    Near the largest planet in the Solar System, gravity pulls on the rocket and storms make the trip bumpy. Vitor learns to steer between lightning and gusts, right in front of the famous Great Red Spot.

  5. The Rings of Saturn

    Phase 05

    The Rings of Saturn

    Up close, Saturn's rings are beautiful, but full of ice and debris. Vitor flies through the corridors between the rings and meets an old lost ship guarding the passage. From up there, he spots a moon covered in mist…

  6. The Tilted Planet

    Phase 06

    The Tilted Planet

    Approaching Uranus, the rocket's instruments go haywire. The planet spins on its side, and magnetic fields push the ship around. Vitor has to trust his own eyes to keep going.

  7. Toward Neptune

    Phase 07

    Toward Neptune

    Space grows darker, colder and more distant. Currents of solar wind, particles flowing from the Sun, push the rocket from side to side as Vitor approaches the last planet of the outbound journey.

  8. Neptune, the Last Planet

    Phase 08

    Neptune, the Last Planet

    Neptune has the fastest winds in the Solar System. In the heart of a giant blue storm, Vitor searches for something special that could change the course of the whole adventure.

  9. The Race Back

    Phase 09

    The Race Back

    Now the mission changes: heading home. At full speed and with a boost from the giant planets' gravity, Vitor races back along the route, trying to stay ahead of a cosmic wave.

  10. Close to the Sun

    Phase 10

    Close to the Sun

    To get home faster, Vitor flies too close to the Sun. The rocket heats up, Venus and Mercury appear along the way, and he has to correct his course very carefully.

  11. Back Home

    Phase 11

    Back Home

    Earth appears on the horizon, with the Moon shining beside it. One last challenge remains: cross the atmosphere and land safely where it all began.
