Privacy Policy — Rocket Space
Rocket Space is a mobile space adventure game designed for children and families, starring Vitor as he journeys through the solar system. The game and this website are developed and maintained by Rodolfo Biscaino ("we", "us"). This policy explains clearly and transparently what data is used, for what purposes, and how you can manage or delete your information.
What the game uses
- Playing without an account: You can play all levels and missions without connecting an account. Your progress is saved locally on your device.
- Google account login (optional): To sync progress and purchases across devices or use the Gem Store, you can optionally connect a Google account. The game only requests the unique identifier (
sub) via OpenID Connect. The game does not request or store name, email address, profile picture, password, or sensitive personal data. - Player identifier: When connecting an account, we generate an internal opaque identifier on our server to associate your inventory of gems, parts, ships, and purchased items.
- Purchases and the Gem Store: In-app purchases use real money and are securely processed by Google Play. We use RevenueCat as our purchase and subscription management provider, sending only the player's opaque identifier and Google Play transaction data for verification and delivery of gems. We do not have access to credit card details or financial information.
- Server progress and economy: With a connected account, authoritative records of gem balances, purchases, upgrades, and level results are stored on the server to prevent fraud and allow data recovery.
- No ads or tracking: The game does not display advertisements, does not use advertising identifiers (AAID), does not collect geographic location, and does not access camera, microphone, device photos, or contacts.
What this website uses
- Reading pages: Our public reading pages do not use session cookies, trackers, and we do not use analytics, ads, or third-party pixels.
- Contact form: When sending a support message through the website, we only collect the information provided (name, email address, message, and adult confirmation). Messages are retained for 180 days and automatically deleted thereafter. We never store raw IP addresses; we only use a one-way derived code to prevent abuse and enforce rate limits against spam.
- Protection and security: We use Cloudflare Turnstile on the contact form to protect against bots and spam without tracking users' personal data.
- Message notification: We use the Resend service exclusively to dispatch internal notifications of incoming contact messages to our support operators.
- Google Identity Services: The Google Identity Services library is loaded exclusively on the account deletion page to authenticate the Google account holder requesting deletion.
Children
Rocket Space is designed with child and family safety and privacy at its core. We do not ask for or collect personal data from children. For all important actions, such as making purchases or submitting a contact form, we include the reminder "ask an adult". If you are a parent or legal guardian and believe that a child has provided us with data, please contact us so we can delete it immediately.
Account deletion
You have full control over your data and can request permanent deletion at any time in two ways:
- In the app: By going to the "Delete my account" option from the game's main menu, while signed in with your Google account.
- On the web: By visiting the page https://rocketspace.com.br/en/account-deletion.
Upon confirming deletion, all your data is permanently erased from Rocket Space and RevenueCat servers, including player identifier, gem balance, ships, parts, items, match history, and purchase records. Nothing is retained by Rocket Space. Deletion is permanent and irreversible.
Who we share data with
We only share strictly necessary data with infrastructure and service providers essential to running the game and website:
- Google: Google account authentication (Sign-In) and secure payment processing on Google Play Store.
- RevenueCat: Receipt validation and synchronization of item and gem purchase history.
- Cloudflare: Hosting, content delivery network (CDN), and protection against malicious traffic (Turnstile).
- Resend: Dispatching transactional notification emails from the contact form.
No data is sold, rented, or shared with advertising networks or data brokers.
